Work At Home Moms: Competing Demands
Work at home moms seem to have it made. They have the opportunity to be available for their children while also contributing to their household income. They are able to start new businesses that may eventually grow and become very prosperous. Work at home moms also have the benefit of keeping sharp and having news skills and experiences to add to their resumes when and if they decide to go back to working outside the home.
Stay At Home Moms And The Home Base Business
Women are leaving the workplace in growing numbers and becoming stay at home moms. There are a number of reasons, but the primary reason is that a large number of couples have decided it?s more important for one of the parents to stay home and raise the children versus having someone else raise their children. Predominately it?s the stay at home mom who stays home to raise the children in fact there are twice as many women leaving the work place as there are women.
Working Moms vs. Stay-at-Home Moms, Lets Stop Debating Each Other and Debate the System Instead!
I could nearly fund my children's future education if I received money every time I've heard a woman say, "I wish I could afford to stay at home full time." Sometimes you can recognize a few working women making this statement to avoid judgment from the stay-at-home parenting world (and they shouldn't feel this way).
Peer Pressure and Sex
There is sex on every television channel, moans on every radio station, search engines on the Internet, and models wearing close to nothing in advertisements throughout the country. A lot of pressure is on today?s youth to have sex at younger and younger ages. The morality of what is right and wrong is falling quickly. There is a lack of respect for others and most importantly, oneself.
Senior Citizen Sex? Hell Yes!
After years of dealing with the roller coaster of life changes in both your emotional and physical life, you may have thought of giving up on sex after 50. Or, perhaps you have just celebrated your 35th wedding anniversary and the sizzle seems to have fizzled out of your sex life and you just feel too old to recapture it. Well hold the phone! Sex after 50 can still happen, and be even better than ever!
Work at Home Moms Start Your Business with Found Money
Think you can't afford to start your own Home Business? Think again! I have been able to budget the start up expenses of my own Home Business. I have to admit in the beginning I thought I would not be able to afford starting my own Home Business knowing it would take a small investment to get it moving.

For information or to purchase tickets, contact Ms. Lorna Martyn, President, Youth Homes Auxiliary at 925-938-4148 or email lmartyn @ netzero.com.
Youth Homes Auxiliary, in addition to the other fund raising programs offered by the Auxiliary, such as the sale of entertainment books and e-scrip, and the successful upscale thrift store, Youth Homes Auxiliary Thrift Shop (15-B Vivian Drive, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523), holds several annual events. This Spring, Youth Homes Auxiliary selected St. Paul's Church as a new venue for the annual Fashion Show & Luncheon to attract more community-wide involvement. St. Paul's is central to Contra Costa County, and has easy freeway access and plenty of parking.
A long-term supporter of the annual Fashion Show & Luncheon, House of Fashion owner, Mary Jane Jossey, will present her store wares on local "models" including Youth Homes employees, friends of Youth Homes and Youth Homes Auxiliary members. Ms. Jossey has selected sport and formal wear, including designs by Torelli of Malibu, European sweaters, woolens from Scotland, Ribcoff from Canada, one-of-a-kind knits, Cyrus tops, Italian jeans and washable silk clothing for the show. House of Fashion is the oldest business in Alamo, CA, started in 1951 as a pioneer in hair goods, which continues to offers wigs for convenience, glamour or hair loss. In addition, House of Fashion sells hats, tie backs, turbans and accessories.
"The move of the Fashion Show & Luncheon to this new venue is exciting, and demonstrates the commitment by Youth Homes Auxiliary to include new members of our community," said Lorna Martyn, president of Youth Homes Auxiliary. "We look forward to meeting, and greeting, people who have previously never attended this annual event. We ask them to join us to celebrate the work we do for the children in the care of Youth Homes."
"The long-term, ongoing support of the Youth Homes Auxiliary never ceases to amaze me," said Stuart McCullough, Executive Director of Youth Homes. "Youth Homes would not be what it is today, without the hard work, dedication and interest in producing events like the Fashion Show & Luncheon by this group of volunteers. Those who participate in the Auxiliary events raise money to provide Youth Homes with support we otherwise would not receive."
The money raised by Youth Homes Auxiliary directly supports the high quality residential treatment programs for abused and neglected children and adolescents offered by Youth Homes.
About Youth Homes, Inc.
Youth Homes Inc., is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has been in operation for 40 years, providing California counties with high quality residential treatment programs for abused and neglected children and adolescents.
